Splinterlands is a trading card game built using blockchain technology that enables users to play anytime, trade anytime, and earn every win. Players compete for a limited reward pool of the Splinterlands in-game cryptocurrency token called Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) as well as provably scarce and valuable NFTs from daily quests and bi-weekly season rewards. Battle for glory and riches or passively rent out your cards. The greatness of the Splinterlands awaits.

This game reminds me of MTG in the EDH/Commander format, but like…quick mode. It’s like EDH draft with changing rulesets each match. The differences is that there are priority factors and positioning that happen in the automated battles. I’m excited to see this game and community grow along with seeing new elements get added, new cards to strategize with and enjoy this unique blockchain game!
I have been playing Splinterlands for over two years now and I think I have played almost everyday for those two years to earn my daily rewards from battling it out! Very fun and addicting play-to-earn game. The strategy needed for each new 2-3 minute match changes so it’s not the same power-cards used for every match. This game is the PERFECT combination of my 4 favorite concepts: Technology (blockchain), Finance (renting and selling card function + play-to-earn), Gaming (playing individual matches and competing for top-ranked position for each 15-day season), and Collecting (collect all of the cards to complete your sets). It is still early on for this game, so hop in NOW and get ready for the next series of card packs to be released this fall, CHAOS LEGION!
Addictive, fun way of earn crypto! Multiple layers for the true gamers, no favoritism for older players because newbies have same opportunity of win battles and thus earn crypto. The rent cards option is unique and awesome! Try it out once in your gamer life you’ll not regret! .
I started playing Hearthstone way back in beta. Blizzard's constant churn of asking me to buy "cards" that I don't actually own made me convert to only playing battlegrounds mode for the last year or so before I quit. And quit I did when I discovered Splinterlands since I was instantly drawn to it's deep auto-battler game play. I love the lore and artwork, and the entire system of leveling up cards and various game modes keep me coming back every day. True ownership makes the game come to life in a way that is hard to describe-- it feels much more like a physical CCG. Many are drawn to the game for the "play to earn" aspect, but to me the rewards just seem like gravy on top of a fun game with cool cards to collect. Speaking of cards… They are NFTs that you can buy, sell, and rent on an open cryptocurrency market. Finally, the community... there are many active guilds and the Discord is bustling 24x7.
There is a reason Splinterlands has consistently been one of the most active blockchain games with a growing userbase. It is by far one of the most fleshed out and enjoyable experiences currently available in blockchain gaming. If you like TCGs, you’ll love Splinterlands.
